We Are a Reform Congregation, that traces its roots to 1839. Our Sanctuary is the oldest Jewish house of worship in continuous use in the city. It is a New York City and National historic landmark.

Severely damaged by fire on August 28, 1998, the Sanctuary is being rebuilt.

As a congregation, we are committed to applying the values of our heritage to the important issues of the day.
